If you’re looking for the best laptop in the sales this January, then look no further. We’ve scoured the web for the most powerful laptops and tablets, at low prices.

We’ve found great deals on the Apple MacBook Pro 13″, Asus Eee Pad Transformer, as well as powerful Toshiba and HP laptops as well.

Toshiba Satellite Pro C660-29W

If you’re looking for a top deal on a laptop, then this Toshiba is well worth considering. It’s the C660 chassis, with a Sandy Bridge Core i5 processor under the hood, which will give it plenty enough power for most demanding media tasks. There’s also a 500GB hard drive and 4GB of RAM to boot. It’s a bit lacking in some areas, and isn’t the most solid build, but as Toshiba is offering £100 cashback at the moment, £379 for this much power is an attractive New Year Deal.

HP Pavilion g6-1244sa

If you have an extra £50 to spend, then the HP G6 is a better buy, and has power and style in bundles. There’s another Intel Core i5 processor here, but a huge 750GB hard drive, with room for huge libraries of music and films. The vibrant colours make it ideal for students and young people, and at £429, it’s a real steal this January.

Apple MacBook Pro 13”

It’s not often that a MacBook will appear in our deals pages, so this price cut on the 13” MacBook Pro is well worth mentioning. This laptop needs no introduction, and is the most portable of Apple’s powerful notebook range. Under the hood is an Intel Core I5 processor, and it comes with the Mac OSX Lion, for the most intuitive experience possible. It’s one of our favourite laptops, and at £999, it’s a great buy.

Asus Eee Pad Transformer TF101 with docking station

With the release of the Tegra 3 powered Asus Transformer Prime, there’s a great opportunity to pick up some cut price older Transformers. This bundle, which includes the tablet, and keyboard dock which turns it into what is essentially an Android laptop. With pre-orders being taken for a dockless Prime for £500, the older bundle for £400 isn’t a bad option, but expect even further price cuts at the end of the month.
