MacroPlay is designed to save you time when repeating tasks on your Palm handheld. It works the same way as a macro on a laptop, allowing users to record the screen taps it takes to perform a function and collect them together into a single command.
This latest version now supports Palm OS 5. It makes performing routine tasks, such as downloading information from the internet, or altering the backlight, extremely quick and easy. A macro can be scheduled to run automatically at specific times of the day, week or month, or after specific operations such as after a HotSync. Users can also set macros to a shortcut key or penstroke.
When the macros are recorded MacroPlay also records the speed and any delays in screen taps. These can be accelerated to run functions faster. Attention to minor details like this makes the program a useful time-saving application.
