FLYING BLUETOOTH FINGERS
29/09/2004

The pace of the modern world is too fast for painstakingly pecking out messages with your stylus or keypad. For optimal mobile communication, Think Outside has released the Stowaway Bluetooth portable keyboard (£99 inc. VAT) for smartphones and handhelds. You can compose text messages and emails at a rapid pace, or readily update your calendars and contacts.

The full-size wireless keyboard has 18mm spacing between keys for comfortable typing and comes with a laplock for balancing the device on your thighs in a crowded train or airport. Meanwhile, your handheld or phone can be propped up on the detachable stand. When you’re finished with the unit, it folds into a convenient carrying case that fits in a pocket or handbag and adds about 170g to your load. The Stowaway Bluetooth portable keyboard supports Symbian and Windows-based smartphones and Pocket PC PDAs, but not Palm devices. It’s available through Widget UK, an online supplier of mobile accessories.
