Orange is giving a boost to mobile music with its ‘Find Music’ campaign. The operator has announced a line-up of ‘Great for Music’ handsets, including the Nokia 6680 3G phone, the Nokia 3230 and the Sony Ericsson K300i. They come equipped with Music Player and Fireplayer for downloading tunes from the Orange World portal. Tracks cost £1.50 for Music Player and £3.50 for Fireplayer, which lets you remix hits from the likes of New Order and Franz Ferdinand.
Music fans will also be able to buy gig tickets using their mobiles, and there’ll be advanced booking offers so they can beat the rush. In addition, Orange World will have festival coverage of Glastonbury and T in the Park, and singles downloaded to Orange phones will be included in the Official UK Download Chart from April 2005.
