As GPS continues to take the mobile world by storm, TomTom introduces RIDER for motorcycles and NAVIGATOR 5 for PDAs.
RIDER is the first navigation system designed with motorcycles and scooters in mind. It’s an all-in-one unit with a touchscreen that works with gloves, a sun visor and anti-glare for visibility on the open road. The compact device features Bluetooth for using the headset provided, to hear turn-by-turn voice instructions in a noisy environment, and connecting wirelessly to a mobile phone for online services. It will be available in summer 2005, pricing to be confirmed.
NAVIGATOR 5 is the latest version of TomTom’s GPS solution for PDAs, including a Bluetooth receiver as well as software and regional maps pre-installed on an SD card. It offers improved multi-destination route planning, seamless integration with your PDA’s contacts, customisable points-of-interest and updated TeleAtlas maps. It hits shelves in May, pricing to be confirmed.
