Epson is set to replace its ageing EMP-S1H with an equally cost-effective data projector, in the form of the Epson EMP-S3 (£599 inc. VAT). The Epson EMP-S3 offers 1600 ANSI lumens, SVGA resolution and a contrast ratio of 500:1. It is also compatible with higher resolution computers (SXGA), giving greater flexibility in the range of sources which can be displayed. An economy mode of 1400 ANSI lumens extends the lamp life to 3000 hours and makes the EMP-S3 ideal for use with Interactive Whiteboards or in a low ambient light conditions.

The EPSON EMP-S3 has also been designed to be mobile, it is one of the lightest and brightest 3LCD projectors on the market in its price range. Weighing just 2.5Kg and boasting a stylish and compact design, it can be effortlessly moved between classrooms, meeting rooms or the office and the home. It has a quick start-up time of 5 seconds and a “One Touch-off” function means there is no cool-down time, the projector can simply be switched off and packed away immediately.
