InFocus IN1100 data projector revealed 27/08/2008

InFocus has updated its range of lightweight data projectors for the mobile worker with the addition of the IN 1100 range. Weighing just 1.2kg, it offers a compact but powerful design.

This is the first portable projector range we’ve seen to support DisplayLink, which makes connecting the projector to your laptop as easy as connecting a USB keyboard or mouse. Instead of a bulky VGA cable, DisplayLink uses a standard mini-USB cable, included with the projector.

There are two models available in the latest range, the IN1100 (£699 inc. VAT), which comes with a 2100 ANSI lumens rating and XGA resolution, while the slightly higher IN1102 (£799 inc. VAT) offers 2200 ANSI lumens rating and an equally stepped-up WXGA native resolution for showing images in their native widescreen format.
