Transatlantic business travellers will have access to GPRS roaming when using their laptops in the USA with Vodafone’s latest data card. In addition, the company has paired its Mobile Connect 3G/GPRS card with improved price plans, including one for £30 per month for 200MBs of data.
Both PC and Mac owners get a full range of connectivity options wherever they are, including GPRS, 3G and WLAN. GPRS is available in 54 countries, including the USA, while 3G is offered in eleven countries across 250 cities.
The Vodafone Dashboard desktop software has also been upgraded, with a dedicated WLAN button, a WLAN airtime meter and a megabyte counter for keeping track of data costs. Existing customers can download the latest version at www.vodafone.co.uk/mobileconnect.
