AMD TURION FOUND IN FUJITSU SIEMENS LAPTOP
04/08/2005

A popular trend for business laptops is the use of AMD Turion 64 processors. Following the likes of Acer and HP comes Fujitsu Siemens with the announcement of its LifeBook S2000 laptop will support the chip. The processor and chipset promises high overall performance for 32-bit and 64-bit applications, as well as Enhanced Virus Protection.

The system promises to come with a new black chassis design that comes with a 13.3-inch CrystalView panel and an overall weight of 1.8kg. Fujitsu Siemens hasn’t announced the full specification but it is understood that it will ship with dual-layer4 DVD rewriter and wireless networking coming as an additional extra.
Full specification and pricing has yet to be released.
