LAPTOP REVIEWS – ENTRY-LEVEL £1000 – £1300

The most common request we receive from readers concerns the need for a high-speciifcation laptop that’s readily available for £1000 (inc. VAT). At just below this price point, users should expect a specification to meet their immediate needs. However, for those who are serious about their computing needs, by moving slightly above this price they will find a machine that offers sufficient power to meet current and future needs. In the past, this price group was very much the preserve of the “affordable” desktop replacement. Currently, it is the most aggressively placed market segment – offering the consumer the best in specifications and the seller the opportunity to offer more in terms of service, warranty and usability.
