Dell's urban Studio 20/08/2008

One of the themes we’ve seen develop this year is the need to personalise your laptop and Dell seems to be driving this idea more than anyone with a whole host of different colouring laptops.

The company has now teamed up with ‘urban artist’ Mike Ming to offer a range of quite distinctive and over-the-top designs that include “Red Swirl,” “Seaweed,” “Sunburst,” “Bunch O Surfers” and “Sea Sky.” According to Dell, Mike Ming blends popular culture, motion and emotion to communicate his visual world.

The first machines to get the Ming treatment will be the Dell Studio 15 and 17 models. As with all Dell laptops, you can choose a specification to suit your budget.

Ming may be no Banksy when it comes to making an art statement but if you like your laptop with more than a splash of colour you’ll find prices start at £449 (inc. VAT).
