Apple has pushed the design envelope once again with the release of the Mighty Mouse. The unit is poised to hush nay-sayers who criticised its single-button predecessor. It has not two but four buttons, as well as a scroll ball for navigating documents without lifting a finger.
A seamless top-shell retains the streamlined look Apple is known for, with touch sensitivity for triggering the buttons. Two programmable buttons are placed on the top, and two are located along the sides. They can be configured to launch OS X Tiger applications such as Dashboard and Exposé. It’s white, naturally, and it has a price tag of £35 (inc. VAT).
