T-Mobile has unveiled the MDA III, its first handheld running the Windows Pocket PC Phone Edition platform. Following the lead of Orange, whose partnership with Microsoft produced the successful SPV series, T-Mobile has packed PDA organiser functions into a tri-band connected device.
Designed with the mobile professional in mind, the MDA III is equipped with both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth for maximum wireless connectivity when accessing information on the move. It's also fitted with a slide-out QWERTY keyboard for composing emails, updating your calendar and editing documents. As with all Pocket PCs, the MDA III has pocket versions of Microsoft Office applications and synchronises with Outlook on your computer.
Users can take advantage of T-Mobile's extensive Wi-Fi network, including more than 600 public hotspots in the UK and 8,000 locations worldwide. A complete list of UK locations can be found at www.t-mobile.co.uk/hotspot. The MDA III Pocket PC (£279.99 inc. VAT) is available through T-Mobile's direct sales.
