Maxdata has released details of its first AMD Athlon 64 based laptop, the Imperio 4500 A. Maxdata is pitching the new machine at corporate buyers looking for a roll out of workstation machines.
Base specifications consist of an AMD Athlon 64 3000+ processor, supported by 256MB of memory, 40GB hard drive and a DVD/CD-RW combination drive comes as standard. The 15-inch TFT screen has a XGA resolution and is supported by the SiS Mirage 2 integrated graphics solution.
