Orange has added the Nokia 3230 to its smartphone line-up, an affordable candybar handset that mixes business with pleasure. The mobile’s understated styling is a break from Nokia’s more experimental designs of late, and it comes equipped with a 1.23-megapixel camera, an MP3 player, an FM-radio and software for creating your own ringtones. It’s one of the phones being offered as part of Orange’s ‘Find Music’ campaign.
Running the Symbian Series 60 platform, the 3230 has PIM software to keep you organised and a dedicated Push to Talk button for walkie-talkie style communication. Bluetooth is also on-board for wireless connectivity, and a 32MB miniMMC memory card comes in the box.
The 3230 is a pocket-friendly smartphone with dimensions of 109 x 49 x 19mm, a weight of 110g, and a 65K screen with a 176 x 208-pixel resolution. Battery life is an estimated 4hrs talk time and 100 to 150 hours standby. The Nokia 3230 is available from £30 on contract.
