Creative is already well established in the MP3 player market and the N200 brings further style to its range. Operated by a minimal set of controls, things are kept very simple. A scroll-wheel eliminates the need for extra buttons, but this can also lead to accidental selections. A built-in microphone and FM tuner add recording compatibility. A reversible LCD screen makes operation easier for left-handed users. Using a AAA battery, the N200 can’t be recharged, which takes points away. Sound quality is high though, and even the headphones show competence. Adding to a respected range, the N200 doesn’t let the side down.
