Toshiba launches new business laptops 19/08/2008

Toshiba has added two new models to its respected Tecra business range, with the launch of its Tecra A10 and M10 laptops. Aimed at SMB (small to medium business) users, they combine the latest Intel technology with an impressive specification and security features, for reliable and high-powered business use.

Both the 15-inch Tecra A10 and 14-inch M10 use Intel Centrino 2 technology and Core 2 Duo processors, alongside up to 8GB of DDR2 memory. The 250GB hard drive provides comprehensive storage space, and data can be saved to CDs and dual-layer DVDs thanks to the built-in rewriter.

Powerful security is provided by Intel vPro technology, which uses hardware defence to protect against outside attacks. Toshiba EasyGuard features also protects important business files. The shock-mounted hard drive is protected against damage if the laptop is dropped, and the built-in fingerprint scanner and Trusted Platform Module ensure data can't be accessed by unauthorised users.

Available now, pricing for the A10 and M10 starts at £586/£499 (inc/ex. VAT) and £549/£645 (inc/ex. VAT) respectively.
