BenQ has unveiled the FP71V+ and FP791V+ LCD monitors with improved colour transitions to optimise performance for gaming and movies. A faster response time reduces image ghosting for a sharper picture. The 17-inch FP71V+ has a 500:1 contrast ratio and built-in speakers. Its larger sibling, the 19-inch FP91V+, offers a 450:1 contrast ratio and built-in speakers with SRS surround sound.
Both monitors have a 1280 x 1024 screen resolution, as well as D-Sub and DVI inputs for connecting with analogue and digital sources. Users select a preset mode to correspond with the type of content they’re viewing, and then Senseye technology adjusts the contrast, colour and sharpness settings accordingly.
