BASS FOR YOUR FACE
05/10/2004

Due to the small and portable nature of laptop technology, even the best speakers still fail to deliver the deep, low-end oomph of a full, desktop speaker system - until now that is.

In a bid to bring chest thumping bass to your portable workstation, and presumably to make you much less popular with fellow passengers on long journeys, the new Notebook Multimedia Subwoofer from Saitek is aimed squarely at bringing the lower frequencies out of your laptop, and adding a new dimension to the portable audio experience.

Connecting directly to a free USB port, and taking all power from the laptop, the Notebook Multimedia Subwoofer needs no external power supply, and thumping out a full frequency range of 140-18000Hz, can even be used as a stand alone speaker set, providing a full audio range.

With plug and play installation, a compact, circular design, and a RRP of £20, there’s now no excuse for a lack of bass in the place. Just make sure to invite your fellow passengers to the party.
