The MP3 Plus T7 portable audio and video player runs the full gamut of mobile media for a modest price tag. It comes in 512MB (£109), 1GB (£139) and 2GB (£219) versions. Its diminutive 1.3-inch 256K-colour screen plays video clips at 25fps, and it supports the MP3, WMA, OGG and WAV audio file formats. Audio playback features include surround sound and a bass booster. An FM radio, voice recorder, JPEG photo viewer and direct encoding are also on board. Files are transferred using the USB 2.0 port.

The MP3 Plus T7 is a jack-of-all-trades device for value-conscious people willing to compromise screen size to have all their media files on one gadget, although even 2GB of storage will fill up quickly if you try to save feature-length films.
