When Samsung announced its NC10 Netbook a couple of weeks ago the pricing and spec was pretty much par for the course. However, we’ve been leaked information that will be announced later today, revealing this to be an elaborate cover story.
The Samsung NC10 will actually hit the stores later this month but not at £329 (inc. VAT) as originally believed but at £299 (inc. VAT). Sure, it’s not a major saving but it’s not only the price that has changed but the spec has been beefed up from 80GB hard drive to 160GB in capacity, making it even better value for money.
As you can see from the spec sheets we’ve been given, the NC10 looks set to be a Netbook to beat all other machines out there. The 1.3kg Netbook comes in a choice of three colours – Black, White or Blue. It has a 10.2-inch non-gloss LED screen, which is great for battery life and image quality. The 6-cell battery should ensure a good battery life and we’ve been assured that it can easily last for five hours out in the wild.
Resellers are allowed to ask whatever they like and have already been taking pre-orders at the original price. Howver, we're expecting a rush of price adjustments later today. So, if you've already placed your order our advice is to get in touch and make sure you get the new price!
What Laptop will have the exclusive first review of the Samsung NC10 later this month, just as soon as it lands in this country.
