BT has teamed up with the iTunes Music Store to offer new customers the chance to download music of their choice when they sign up to a broadband package.
Customers signing up for BT Broadband or BT Yahoo! Broadband will have the opportunity to download up to 40 free tracks of their choice from the UK iTunes Music Store. Consumers looking for an entry-level package can download up to six digital music tracks of their choice with BT Broadband Basic which is only £15.99 for the first three months. All new customers can also benefit from a £15 discount on the purchase of an iPod.
The offer will run across all packages from August 4 to October 23 2005.
BT and iTunes have also teamed up to integrate the online payment tool BTclick&buy into the iTunes Music Store. Now customers are able to make payments simply and securely, offering them the choice of credit or debit card, direct debit or payment via the BT phone bill. Purchasers simply set up a BTclick&buy account, and save themselves the need to give payment details each time they make a purchase.
