D-Link DGL-4300

D-LINK GOES ON THE GAME

D-Link, the leading global manufacturer of broadband, wireless and networking solutions has announced its first wireless Gigabit gaming router, the DGL-4300. It is aimed specifically at the online gaming community and optimally designed to work with PC, X-Box, and Playstation2 platforms. The DGL-4300 will provide gamers with an uninterrupted and latency-free online experience that will keep even the most experienced players on top of their game.

The first product to feature D-Link's Gamefuel Priority technology, the DGL-4300 intelligently manages and prioritises broadband network traffic to better execute gaming sensitive applications, ensuring delivery ahead of all other applications, such as FTP transfers, Internet traffic and E-mail.

Supporting one fast Ethernet 10/100 Mbps WAN port, four Gigabit Ethernet 10/100/1000 Mbps LAN ports and 108Mbps SuperG 802.11g wireless performance, the DGL-4300 provides users with the fastest wired and wireless speeds currently available on a home broadband device. The router also features a 5dBi High Gain antenna for exceptional wireless signal coverage and a simple user interface that allows ports to be configured for up to 256 policies for games and applications.

As well as offering the best performance available for gamers today, the router also protects the user. Featuring robust security features such as Wi-Fi protected access (WPA), 128 bit WEP encryption and Network Address Translation (NAT), the DGL-4300 is designed to ensure maximum wireless network security. Coupled with a high performance CPU that can support up to 1,000 concurrent connections, MAC address authentication and stateful packet inspection (SPI), the DGL-4300 is one of the most feature rich gaming routers available on the market today.

The D-Link DGL-4300 costs £148 (inc. VAT)
