Intel, the world’s largest chip manufacturer, has announced details of its latest addition to its Pentium M line of mobile processors. The Intel Pentium M 765 has a clock speed of 2.1GHz and as will other chips in this range comes with 2MB Level 2 cache. It also features a power optimized 400MHz system bus and includes power saving technologies such as Enhanced Intel Speedstep Technology, which helps optimise application performance and power consumption to enable extended battery life.

We are currently waiting for manufacturers to announce support for this processor in their laptop line-ups.
