We’re all bored of people talking about Bluetooth headsets as though they are something to laugh at, or go on about how it’s only the mad who talk to themselves in the street. The latest generation of Bluetooth headsets are set to shake off their old image, with the Jabra BT800 set to lead the pack. Featuring a blue backlit LED display for caller ID and an easy to use jog wheel to access menu options, users can select favourite ring tones or use the built-in call-vibrate feature.
The Jabra BT800 also features DSP (Digital Signal Processing) that improves audio clarity in noisy and windy environments. It automatically adjusts volume level in response to background noise and mutes the headset with a fingertip. It weighs only 25g. JABRA BT800 complies with Bluetooth version 1.2 and offers 6 hours of talk time and 200 hours of standby time.
Set for release in November, the Jabra BT800 will cost £100 (inc. VAT)
