Since a data projector is expected to spend much of its time delivering it’s high-quality business presentations while on the move, portability is a prime concern. In a move to further help the travelling businessperson, comes the pico-portable XD60U projector from Mitsubishi Electrics.
Weighing only 1.5kg, the XD60U delivers a native XGA resolution (1024 x 768 pixels) and features 1800 ANSI lumens of brightness for optimal performance in a range of lighting conditions. Although small and light in build, the XD60U manages to retain many specifications found in larger projectors on the market. These include the use of the latest generation of DLP DDR chip, and a contrast ratio of 2000:1. With a 2000-hour lamp-life when used in eco-mode, the XD60U is a projector directly aimed at the mobile user with quality and reliability at the top of their agenda.
Accepting analogue, digital and even HDTV signals, the XD60U also incorporates password protected security settings, to prevent the projector from any unauthorised access or use. Expected to retail for £1564 (inc. VAT), the XD60U comes with a three-year loan replacement warranty from Mitsubishi Electric and may prove to be a handy companion for the mobile user.
